- Directly manages Specialized’s top level sponsored mountain bike program, including numerous Olympians and two Olympic Medallists. Specialized Factory Racing is considered to be one of the top teams competing on the world circuit, while Specialized is a world renowned premium bicycle brand.
- Works with Specialized’s top sponsored triathletes such as two time Olympian and three times World XTerra Triathlon Champion, Conrad Stoltz
- Directly sources and manages the staff of the team such as mechanics and soigneurs
- Manages all of the logistical and financial planning of the team, which includes athlete schedules, staff schedules and movement of team vehicles and trucks
- The schedule centres around the World Cup Circuit, World Championships and The Olympic Games
- The team has at present six riders each capable of winning Olympic Medals next year in Beijing. Bobby is responsible for the team’s performance and logistical strategy in preparation for The Olympic Games in 2008
- Responsible for all communications from the team, including marketing and product development as well as the testing of prototype equipment and technological advancement. Bobby is the first point of contact regarding the team’s athletes
- Bobby is also the “talent scout” for the team, so he spends time looking at emerging and existing talent on the international circuit
- Bobby converses on a regular basis with each athlete’s national federations, national high performance directors, coaches, support staff and also offers his own support and guidance to each athlete with respect to their training preparatory plans, including training analysis etc. Bobby has recently implemented some systems respective to each athletes training programs, which he felt were fundamental requirements that each athlete needed to the address ahead of The Olympic Games.

Vice President, International Mountain Bike Trade Teams Organisation (IMTTO)
- In Bobby’s first year on the circuit he was voted onto this board last year by the other International Mountain Bike Trade Teams and their riders
- IMTTO is an organisation that currently represents International Mountain Bike Trade Teams, Technical Support Companies and Event Organisers
- IMTTO is recognised by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) cycling’s governing body

Oakley (2001-2004)
Worked for four years as the sales and marketing manager in Ireland for one of the world’s premium lifestyle brands, Oakley with a responsibility for establishing and expanding the footprint of the brand nationally. This role allowed him to interact with numerous Irish Olympians across a number of minority sports.
