Equipment / What to bring

What to bring to the training camps - Bobbys race setupSwim

  • Swimwear
  • Goggles (plus spare pair)
  • Swim Cap (some pools may require their use)
  • Kick Board (do not worry if you do not have one)
  • Pull Buoy (do not worry if you do not have one)
  • Paddles (optional – if you use them please bring them)
  • Wetsuit (Seasonal)

Bike

  • Your bike (please have good tyres to avoiding punctures!)
  • At least two Spare tubes (hopefully not needed!)
  • Pump and tyre levers to repair punctures
  • Helmet (compulsory)
  • Enough clothing anticipating all types of weather conditions, because we will be out in it!
  • Bicycle tools (allen keys etc)

Run

  • Clothing in preparation for all possible weather conditions including warmup and warmdown gear just in case we are hanging around doing technical drills etc
  • Run shoes and race shoes if within season
  • Visibility jackets or ‘visibility over vest’ just in case we are running or biking in poor light conditions or at night

Other

  • Bring your usual triathlon transition gear if within season (February onwards)
  • Sense of humour
  • Appetite, enthusiasm and questions!
  • Notebook to collate information
  • Nutritional Products such as gels, drinks etc. Drinks are a necessity in every training session.
