University Sports Arena, Limerick
The University Of Limerick Sports Arena and surrounding area is purpose built for triathlon and in keeping with standards of excellence and professionalism, serves as the perfect venue for training camps.
The facility offers the following:

Location:

• 1 hour drive from Cork
• 1 hour 30 min drive from Galway
• 2 hour 15 minute drive from Dublin
• 4 hours 15 minutes drive from Belfast
• Rail and bus links plus airport accessibility via Shannon

Swimming:

• 10 Lane 50m pool with a further 25m pool in development (completion date mid 2009)
• Open water swimming via the river and lagoon both near campus and Lough Derg a further 20 minutes drive away

Cycling:

• A labyrinth of quiet country roads offering all components of terrain required, plus a multitude of off road sites such as Killaloe, Cratloe Woods and the purpose built 90km of MTB Trails in Ballyhoura
• Indoor meeting rooms and an indoor track where indoor “turbo training sessions” can be completed

Running:

• 400m running track
• Grass trails and many tracks offering varied running on campus
• Indoor running track where technical sessions can be completed
• Local forests and parks which provide the foundation for longer run sessions

• Complex weight training and “dry land” training facilities
